Let’s dive in.

## How do you automate sales with ChatGPT and Chatfuel?

The great thing about ChatGPT is that it can be integrated into other tools, such as [eCommerce chatbots](https://chatfuel.com/blog/best-ecommerce-chatbots-that-can-boost-your-business/). And we did just that at Chatfuel. That means that instead of customers going through pre-defined options or being connected to an agent when they click the chat widget, they can ask questions in a conversational manner. ChatGPT can then answer those questions and provide them with all the necessary information. It acts as a product expert and salesman, all in one.

All of this is possible by adding some training data to the flow. You might add information about your products, details on your sales and promotions, information about your store, and anything else that is relevant to your business. The best part is that this setup is simple, especially if you already use Chatfuel for your website. In just minutes, you can have a completely automated sales machine working for your business.

While it may seem like a stretch, this use of ChatGPT-powered tools is more common than you’d think. Keep reading to find out how a popular Brazilian online education platform is leveraging Chatfuel and ChatGPT.

With our help, they’ve updated their sales flow so that Chatfuel now acts as a pre-sales manager for their customers. Once a customer fills out a form, the information is transferred to Chatfuel. Chatfuel then sends a confirmation message, uses ChatGPT to book a meeting, and finally creates a task in the CRM for that meeting.

## Reengage your existing contacts

This is another great way to leverage our ChatGPT-powered tool. So, instead of waiting for customers to come to you, you can reach out to your existing customer groups and inform them about your promotions and offers. You can even offer them exclusive discounts, helping you build a stronger relationship and customer loyalty. Then, once they receive your message and engage with you, they enter the same flow that new customers do. This means that ChatGPT will answer their product questions, promotion questions, or whatever else you have it set up to do.

Here’s how you can do this in your dashboard:

1. Go to the ‘People’ tab and click on ‘Import contacts.’

2. Import the CSV file with the WhatsApp phone numbers for your existing contacts. If you want to differentiate these contacts from others, you can also give them a custom attribute during the import process.

Increase eCommerce Sales with ChatGPT Techniques

With Black Friday and Cyber Monday only a month away, eCommerce managers and marketing specialists are scrambling. There’s so much to do. So much to prepare. For many, this is the biggest revenue month of the year. Luckily for you, we’re here to help.

In this article, we’ll show you how to increase eCommerce sales for your store by using sales automation with Chatfuel and ChatGPT.

We’ll show you how to leverage WhatsApp for your business, a case study of a brand already doing this, and even a step-by-step guide on how to set it all up. The goal is to get you prepared for an influx of customers, making sure that you maximize your sales while reducing the workload on your team at the same time.

Let’s get started.

## How do you automate sales with ChatGPT?

The great thing about ChatGPT is that it can be integrated into other tools, such as chatbots. And Chatfuel, one of the biggest [eCommerce chatbot platforms](https://chatfuel.com/blog/best-ecommerce-chatbots-that-can-boost-your-business/) in the world, did exactly that. That means that you can have a customer visiting your website, and when they click on the ‘chat’ button, ChatGPT talks to them about your products and tries to sell them. It acts as a product expert and salesman, all in one.

To make this work, all you have to do is feed it some training data. You can provide information about your products, details on your sales and promotions, information about your store, and anything else that is relevant to your business. The best part is that this integration is simple and completely safe. In just minutes, you can have a completely automated sales machine working for your business.

It might sound too good to be true for some, but many stores are already using this tool. In the case study below, we’ll show you how a Colombian brand is leveraging Chatfuel and ChatGPT.

## Case study: how a clothing brand automates sales with Chatfuel and ChatGPT

Deliiro, one of Chatfuel’s many customers, is a Colombian clothing store. They’ve realized that leveraging sales automation with ChatGPT is something that they absolutely had to try. And to make that happen, they turned to Chatfuel.

When you land on their website, what you’ll see in the right corner is a WhatsApp chat widget. Customers can click on it and ask questions about product features, product selection, placing an order, and much more.

<img src="https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/Deliiro_797146488a/Deliiro_797146488a.png" alt="Deliiro.png" width="2862" height="1401" srcset="https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/xs_Deliiro_797146488a/xs_Deliiro_797146488a.png 300w, https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/sm_Deliiro_797146488a/sm_Deliiro_797146488a.png 768w, https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/md_Deliiro_797146488a/md_Deliiro_797146488a.png 1280w, https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/lg_Deliiro_797146488a/lg_Deliiro_797146488a.png 1920w, https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/xl_Deliiro_797146488a/xl_Deliiro_797146488a.png 2840w">

Not only that, but Chatfuel also works as a lead-generation tool for Deliiro. They efficiently automate the collection of customer information, which they can then nurture and engage with.

If you’re ready to get started with Chatfuel and do the same for your own brand, keep reading to learn how to get set up. Or, if you prefer figuring things out on the go, you can sign up for your free trial [here](https://dashboard.chatfuel.com/sign-up?utm_medium=chatfuel&utm_source=blog&utm_campaign=automate-sales-ChatGPT).

## How to set it all up

Follow the steps below to set up Chatfuel on your website:

### 1\. Register at Chatfuel

Go to our website and [create an account for free](https://dashboard.chatfuel.com/sign-up?utm_medium=chatfuel&utm_source=blog&utm_campaign=automate-sales-ChatGPT).

### 2\. Connect your WhatsApp number to Chatfuel

To do this, you will first need to [log in to your Chatfuel account](https://dashboard.chatfuel.com/sign-up?utm_medium=chatfuel&utm_source=blog&utm_campaign=automate-sales-ChatGPT).

We strongly recommend using a new number for the WhatsApp + Chatfuel integration. This is because a phone number connected to Chatfuel can’t be already in use in other WhatsApp Business accounts, the WhatsApp application, or with the WhatsApp Business application.

1. Once you’re in your dashboard, go to the ‘Home’ section from the left-side menu.

2. Scroll down to the WhatsApp Business section and click on ‘Connect.’

How to automate eCommerce sales by using ChatGPT

When ChatGPT was released in November 2022, it attracted so many users that it became the [fastest-growing application](https://www.reuters.com/technology/chatgpt-sets-record-fastest-growing-user-base-analyst-note-2023-02-01/) in history. But most still don’t know how to use it to its fullest potential.

As we dive into this article, you will learn about the multitude of applications of ChatGPT in 2023. We’ll go over what ChatGPT is, its benefits and limitations, and finally, the top 40 ChatGPT use cases.

Let’s get started.

## What is ChatGPT?

ChatGPT is a conversational AI chatbot developed by OpenAI. It is designed to understand and generate human-like text based on the prompts provided to it. ChatGPT can converse, solve problems, understand images, translate text, write code, and more.

What makes all this possible is the GPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformer) model that ChatGPT is powered by.

Currently, the latest and most powerful version of GPT available is GPT-4, but its predecessors are GPT-3.5, GPT-3, and GPT-2.

## Benefits of ChatGPT

Here are the biggest benefits of ChatGPT:

- **24/7 availability**. Unlike humans, AI doesn’t sleep. You can use it all day, any day.

- **Cost efficiency**. With a price tag of only $20/month for the Plus plan, ChatGPT is an extremely affordable tool.

- **Multilingual capabilities**. Although primarily trained in English, ChatGPT knows 90+ languages.

- **Diverse applications**. From coding to marketing, ChatGPT’s capabilities can be useful for many types of professionals.

## What are the limitations of ChatGPT?

Like any tool, ChatGPT certainly has its challenges. One of the biggest is a tendency to ‘hallucinate’ facts. That’s when ChatGPT presents information as if it is real but completely false. Another limitation is the potential bias in its answers, with [research](https://www.washingtonpost.com/technology/2023/08/16/chatgpt-ai-political-bias-research/) showing that ChatGPT does indeed lean a certain way politically.

A notable limitation is ChatGPT’s knowledge cutoff in 2021, meaning it isn’t aware of events in the world after that point. And last but not least, security and privacy are also issues. ChatGPT can collect and record the way it is being used and even the specific conversations you have with it, so you must keep that in mind when it comes to sensitive information.

## 40 best ChatGPT use cases in 2023

### General ChatGPT use cases

40 best ways to use ChatGPT in 2024

ChatGPT is so ground-breaking that it broke the [record](https://www.reuters.com/technology/chatgpt-sets-record-fastest-growing-user-base-analyst-note-2023-02-01/) for the fastest-growing application in history. People loved it so much that ChatGPT amassed 100 million users in just two short months with free access. The reason is that it’s a first-of-its-kind Artificial Intelligence (AI) chatbot that can understand language and even talk back to you as a human would. It can explain complex topics, summarize text, organize data, brainstorm, be creative, and a million other things.

So, given that it is so useful, it was no surprise that the company that made ChatGPT, OpenAI, developed a paid version of the product. But how much does the paid version cost? What are the different plans? What’s the difference between them? This is what we will delve into, so keep reading to find out.

## Is ChatGPT free?

Yes, ChatGPT is free. They offer a free plan that you can use without paying a single dollar. However, with this free plan, you only have access to GPT-3.5, the second-best Large Language Model (LLM) that ChatGPT has been trained on, with the best being GPT-4. An LLM is essentially the ‘brain’ behind the chatbot. GPT-4 is larger, more powerful, and better at conversing like a human with faster response times.

But don’t worry, with the free version of ChatGPT, you can still do amazing things and make your job easier even in peak times. ChatGPT is at capacity and is great for everyday tasks, even in the free version.

## ChatGPT price plans

Here’s an overview of each ChatGPT price plan and what each one offers.

### ChatGPT free plan

As mentioned earlier, the free plan is easily available to anyone who creates an account with OpenAI. You’ll only need a phone number to verify your identity.

Here’s an overview of the features available with the free ChatGPT plan:

- Access to the GPT-3.5 LLM model.

- Understand and respond in text format.

- Solve simple problems and perform simple creative tasks.

- Summarize information.

- Translate text in multiple languages.

### ChatGPT Plus plan

The ChatGPT Plus plan costs **$20 per month**. Features in the Plus plan include everything in the free plan plus the following:

- Faster response speed.

- Access to GPT-4, the fastest and most capable model available.

- The chatbot can understand both text and images.

- Advanced data analysis capabilities include the capability to write and execute Python code and work with file uploads.

- Access to third-party plugins. With these, you can do anything from accessing internet links, shopping, reading and editing PDF files, and even interacting with other applications. The plugin store has hundreds of 3rd party plugins available, with more added daily.

- Priority access to new features.

- Please note that as of September 1st, 2023, with the Plus plan, the GPT-4 model and plugins usage is capped at 50 messages every three hours.

### ChatGPT Enterprise plan

Released on August 28, 2023, the enterprise plan is for large organizations worried about data protection, privacy, and security. The plan has no fixed price so it will vary case-by-case. You can contact the OpenAI sales team for a quote.

The features available to enterprise customers are all those of the Plus plan, plus the following:

## Is the ChatGPT API free?

No, the ChatGPT API is not free. However, OpenAI offers a free $5 credit, which you can use to test their product.

After your free trial, the price will vary based on which model you use, as well as how much you use it. Their pricing works on a token model, where they are calculated at increments of 1,000 tokens. In today’s digital age, the phrase 'content is king' has never been more accurate. But with so many brands and personalities competing for attention, how do we keep up? This is where Artificial Intelligence (AI) comes in.

With the power of AI, generating captivating social media posts has become not just possible but also efficient and effective.

In this article, we’ll explore the world of AI-driven social media content, its advantages, how to create and enhance posts, and the best tools available. Let’s get started.

## Advantages of AI in social media posting

Here are just some of the advantages you can expect when you decide to embrace AI:

- **Efficiency.** AI can produce content in seconds, allowing for a constant stream of fresh content without manual labor.

- **Cost-effective.** By making content creators more efficient, especially when it comes to repetitive tasks, you don’t have to hire as many employees to get the job done.

- **Error reduction.** One of the many things AI is amazing at is identifying and correcting grammatical errors and ensuring that content is polished and professional.

- **Multilingual content.** This is yet another strong point of AI. In just seconds, it can translate content into multiple languages, broadening the potential reach of your posts.

- **Automated customer service.** AI-driven chatbots can handle customer inquiries on social media platforms, providing instant responses and improving user satisfaction.

## How do you create a social media post with AI?

Follow this step-by-step guide on how you can create a social media post with AI:

### 1\. Brainstorm with AI

Define your brand values and use tools like ChatGPT to generate post ideas. For instance, prompt the AI with specifics about your brand, such as 'Brainstorm social media ideas for an easy to use chatbot platform emphasizing creativity.'

<figure><img srcset="https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/xs_ai_social_media_post_0_ac6b83bf00/xs_ai_social_media_post_0_ac6b83bf00.webp 300w, https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/sm_ai_social_media_post_0_ac6b83bf00/sm_ai_social_media_post_0_ac6b83bf00.webp 768w, https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/md_ai_social_media_post_0_ac6b83bf00/md_ai_social_media_post_0_ac6b83bf00.webp 1280w, https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/lg_ai_social_media_post_0_ac6b83bf00/lg_ai_social_media_post_0_ac6b83bf00.webp 1920w, https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/xl_ai_social_media_post_0_ac6b83bf00/xl_ai_social_media_post_0_ac6b83bf00.webp 2000w" width="2000" height="1654" src="https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/original_ai_social_media_post_0_ac6b83bf00/original_ai_social_media_post_0_ac6b83bf00.webp" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### 2\. Draft and refine

Use AI suggestions for post generation as a start, but make sure to then shape and personalize the content to align with your brand’s voice. Remember, your touch is what ensures authenticity.

### 3\. AI-powered visuals

Use tools like DALL·E and Midjourney to generate images based on text prompts and boost your engagement. (We’ll delve deeper into AI-powered visuals in the next section.)

### 4\. Repurpose to other platforms

To maximize your content’s reach, use AI to repurpose it across various platforms. This might involve shortening it, lengthening it, making it more image-centric, etc.

### 5\. Review and iterate

Like with anything, you need to review and refine your approach to achieve the best results. AI is indeed powerful, but regular feedback ensures your content stays relevant and engaging.

## How to generate images for social media posts with AI?

As mentioned above, some tools can help you generate images based on text input. DALL·E, Midjourney, and Stable Diffusion are the three most popular.

Now, here are five easy steps on how to use AI to generate images for social media:

### 1\. Define your vision

Before using any tool, have a clear idea of what you want. The more information you provide, the better the outcome will be. In fact, you can use tools like ChatGPT to help you come up with ideas for your images.

### 2\. Choose the right tool

Depending on your needs, whether you’re looking for something polished, curated, or creative, select the appropriate platform from the ones listed above. Or, you can always test many of the other tools available out there.

### 3\. Input and generate

Input the text description for what you’re looking for into the tool. Review the generated images and select the one that best fits your needs.

Below are 4 images that I was able to generate with DALL·E with this input: 'A social media manager working on his laptop in a busy cafe, surrounded by plants, anime style.'

<figure><img srcset="https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/xs_ai_social_media_post_1_d10b4d4df1/xs_ai_social_media_post_1_d10b4d4df1.webp 300w, https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/sm_ai_social_media_post_1_d10b4d4df1/sm_ai_social_media_post_1_d10b4d4df1.webp 768w, https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/md_ai_social_media_post_1_d10b4d4df1/md_ai_social_media_post_1_d10b4d4df1.webp 1280w, https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/lg_ai_social_media_post_1_d10b4d4df1/lg_ai_social_media_post_1_d10b4d4df1.webp 1920w, https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/xl_ai_social_media_post_1_d10b4d4df1/xl_ai_social_media_post_1_d10b4d4df1.webp 2000w" width="2000" height="491" src="https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/original_ai_social_media_post_1_d10b4d4df1/original_ai_social_media_post_1_d10b4d4df1.webp" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Input the text description for what you’re looking for into the tool. Review the generated images and select the one that best fits your needs.

Below are four images that we generated with DALL·E with this input: ‘A social media manager working on his laptop in a busy cafe, surrounded by plants, anime style.’

### 4\. Refine and customize

Some platforms allow further customization of the generated image. Use these features to ensure the final image fits your social media post well. In DALL·E, you can click on one of the four generated images and use the ‘Edit’ and ‘Variations’ buttons.

<figure><img srcset="https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/xs_ai_social_media_post_2_ad3ea54bf9/xs_ai_social_media_post_2_ad3ea54bf9.webp 300w, https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/sm_ai_social_media_post_2_ad3ea54bf9/sm_ai_social_media_post_2_ad3ea54bf9.webp 768w, https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/md_ai_social_media_post_2_ad3ea54bf9/md_ai_social_media_post_2_ad3ea54bf9.webp 1280w, https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/lg_ai_social_media_post_2_ad3ea54bf9/lg_ai_social_media_post_2_ad3ea54bf9.webp 1920w, https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/xl_ai_social_media_post_2_ad3ea54bf9/xl_ai_social_media_post_2_ad3ea54bf9.webp 2000w" width="2000" height="1396" src="https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/original_ai_social_media_post_2_ad3ea54bf9/original_ai_social_media_post_2_ad3ea54bf9.webp" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>
