ChatGPT Integrations: Add AI to Your Business

There are not so many things that are more irritating than trying to reach a customer service team and getting no answer for hours. When a company can’t build efficient real-time communication with clients, it can become a fatal mistake for a business and its prospects to grow.

If you have a general understanding of the specific nature of agents' work, you may say that it is practically impossible to provide an accurate detailed response within a couple of seconds. We have to agree with you. However, artificial intelligence (AI) in general, and agent assist technology in particular, can change the game for businesses.

## What is AI agent assist?

Agent assist is a software tool that helps human agents across various industries enhance their interaction with customers. These solutions are powered by AI, namely artificial intelligence, which allows them to analyze questions sent by customers. Based on the context, such tools can make suggestions for the best possible responses.

This functionality is ensured thanks to the combination of several emerging technologies. Machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), automatic speech recognition (ASR), and data analytics are among the most important ones.

To provide answers, agent assist tools rely on various sources. For example, they can use internal and external knowledge bases, previously provided chatbot responses, and other resources that contain information in text form. These solutions can learn from interactions with customers, which makes their responses more comprehensive and efficient over time.

### Key features of AI agent assistants

Different software tools of this type can be enhanced with various functionalities. However, as a rule, they include the following features:

- guidance cards that are provided in real time,

- guided script for building the most efficient conversation flow,

- proactive issue prediction,

- a comprehensive knowledge base that typically unites several resources,

- real-time transcription for voice calls,

- process automation,

- data-driven insight generation,

- automatic reporting.

## How AI agent assist can help your business

- **Faster request resolution.** With checklists and automatic guidance cards provided by a real-time agent assist tool, agents need less time to process customer requests.

- **Fewer errors.** The majority of mistakes in the agent and customer interaction are usually caused by a human factor. When the requests are processed automatically, the risk of misunderstanding will be lower.

- **Enhanced customer experiences.** With AI tools agents do not need to focus on searching for accurate facts. They can concentrate more on building highly personalized empathetic interactions with clients.

- **Increased agent productivity.** Automated request processing and knowledge searches are the main driving forces that allow agents to deal with more inquiries in less time.

- **Faster agent onboarding.** You can train newcomers on previously provided suggestions and conversations. As a result, the training process will take less time.

- **Higher agent retention**. Working as a customer support specialist can be very stressful. That’s why a lot of specialists start thinking about quitting already within the first 12 months. Easy-to-use AI agent assist tools help to create more comfortable working conditions.

- **Valuable business insights**. Advanced AI agent assist products can detect customer trends, identify behavior patterns, and analyze agents’ KPIs. These insights are highly valuable for managers. They can make better-informed decisions related to business strategy and professional training for agents.

- **More sales.** Enhanced customer experiences, faster responses, and more personalized interaction result in better conversions. What’s more, customer acquisition cost is decreased as well as overall operating expenses.

This range of benefits makes agent assist technology a good choice practically for any domain that presupposes interaction with customers.

## AI agent assist in customer support

Real time agent assist software can help to unite several digital communication channels under one roof. As a result, it will be significantly easier for human agents to maintain omnichannel interaction with clients.

For customer support, it is vital to work with inquiries as fast as possible. AI can process a large number of inputs simultaneously and provide answers based on the chosen knowledge resources.

Agents assist tools can also provide multilingual support. With this feature, businesses can offer communication to customers in their native languages. This approach makes the interaction for clients more convenient and better understandable.

## AI agent assist in call centers

AI agent assist can be of great help not only in written communication but also in voice conversations.

Artificial intelligence can process natural speech in real time. Thanks to this, it immediately offers guidance cards with lists of possible actions that are expected to bring the best results in handling the issue.

Moreover, such solutions can also facilitate after-call work for employees. AI makes real-time transcription and gets the entire content of a conversation in the form of text. Then, the script can be processed and summarized.

A high-quality summary saves agents from huge volumes of routine work. So, they can put more effort and time into elaborating solutions for customer issues.

## Final word

Today clients seem to be spoilt with good service (and it is a positive trend). To stay afloat businesses need to correspond to the set standards to meet customer expectations. An AI-powered agent assistant can become an excellent tool to increase customer satisfaction.

6 best AI tools for Instagram in 2024

Whether you manage a small business or an enterprise team, these tools will help you gain a competitive advantage. As a marketer or business owner, it’s hard.

10 best AI digital marketing tools in 2024

Customer experience can either make it or break it. No matter how valuable and competitive a product or offering is, ultimately it all boils down to how people feel when they interact with a business. That is what defines if they'll stay or switch to competitors.

According to [HubSpot](https://blog.hubspot.com/service/customer-service-stats), companies that provide great customer experience (CX) are more likely to get repeat purchases from 93% of customers and be recommended by 82% of customers. It is therefore no surprise that businesses across industries are increasingly putting the customer first. And forward-thinking businesses employ artificial intelligence to make the most of their CX initiatives.

In this article, we explore what is behind all that buzz about using artificial intelligence (AI) in an area that traditionally relied on human interaction – customer experience. Let’s find out how AI helps companies gain customers’ loyalty along with cutting service-associated costs.

## What is AI CX?

AI CX (artificial intelligence customer experience) refers to the application of artificial intelligence to create more personalized, efficient, and satisfying experiences for customers at different stages of their journey. Artificial intelligence automates a huge chunk of customer service, allowing for shifting focus and effort from mundane and repetitive tasks to areas that require a human touch. It's somewhat paradoxical: integrating AI into customer service strategy actually enables businesses to prioritize customer centricity even more.

### Understanding the technologies behind AI

To put it simply, artificial intelligence enables computers to perform tasks that previously required human involvement. This term encompasses a broad range of technologies, but we’ll not go too deep and explore just the ones that are actively used to make customers happy. Here they are:

- **Machine learning (ML)** focuses on building computer systems that learn from data and improve their performance over time. Such systems analyze customers’ behavior to provide personalized recommendations and content, categorize customer inquiries by extracting keywords, and perform a whole bunch of other tasks that involve processing large amounts of data.

- **Natural language processing (NLP)** enables machines to understand, interpret, and generate human-like text. This way, computers can figure out what users are asking, pick up on the emotions behind the words, and give meaningful and useful responses.

- **Predictive analytics** uses statistical algorithms and machine learning techniques to identify patterns and predict what's going to happen next. With this powerful tool at hand, you can get a better understanding of customers’ needs and behavior and proactively address any issues before they become significant problems.

- **Speech recognition** translates spoken language into text, enabling computers to understand and respond to voice commands in real time. This technology is used in virtual assistants, automated telephone systems, and voice-activated applications that let users control their devices with spoken commands.

These technologies define the applications of AI in customer experience and are increasingly utilized by companies to automate and streamline customer service.

## 4 ways to apply AI for customer experience

When it comes to customer experience, AI can work wonders.

### 1\. Enhance customer service with AI-powered chatbots and virtual assistants

Chatbots and virtual assistants are often the first things that come to mind when considering AI customer experience. They handle various tasks such as:

- provide customer support 24/7 and answer questions instantly

- redirect users to support agents if needed

- book visits

- facilitate onboarding

<img src="https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/ai_and_customer_experience_812f1326c0/ai_and_customer_experience_812f1326c0.png" alt="ai-and-customer-experience.png" width="644" height="330" srcset="https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/xs_ai_and_customer_experience_812f1326c0/xs_ai_and_customer_experience_812f1326c0.png 300w, https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/sm_ai_and_customer_experience_812f1326c0/sm_ai_and_customer_experience_812f1326c0.png 768w, https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/md_ai_and_customer_experience_812f1326c0/md_ai_and_customer_experience_812f1326c0.png 1280w, https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/lg_ai_and_customer_experience_812f1326c0/lg_ai_and_customer_experience_812f1326c0.png 1920w, https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/xl_ai_and_customer_experience_812f1326c0/xl_ai_and_customer_experience_812f1326c0.png 644w">

For instance, in Chatfuel, you can create a ChatGPT-powered assistant bot that will take care of all the mentioned tasks and more.

Speaking of measurable outcomes, chatbots also help to increase engagement, improve customer satisfaction, lower customer effort scores, and prevent churn.

Case in point: Interaksi, a service marketplace, used a WhatsApp bot to automate matching customers with service performers. What were the results? The customer-performer connection time decreased to 1 minute, improving application-to-deal conversion and performer retention. You can learn more about their AI journey [here](https://chatfuel.com/customer-stories/interaksi).

### 2\. Analyze customer feedback to find areas for improvements

Using AI for CX, you can pinpoint weak spots and identify areas for improvement in your overall strategy and business processes. For example, you can employ sentiment analysis technology to analyze customer feedback across various channels – from social media to customer reviews – to understand the emotion behind the words. With this wealth of knowledge, you can:

- make data-driven decisions

- prevent or lower customer churn

- implement targeted improvements to eliminate bottlenecks

The result of these efforts is smoother journeys and better experiences for your customers.

### 3\. Enable more tailored experiences with personalized recommendations

AI algorithms can analyze huge amounts of user data, including past interactions, purchase history, and preferences, and then identify patterns. Based on these patterns, AI offers relevant and engaging content or products.

Companies across industries apply personalized recommendations to create a memorable and positive AI customer journey by demonstrating care and attention to individual preferences:

- Amazon with its AI-driven personalized recommendations system analyzes buyers' shopping habits, the contents of their cart, and what other people are buying to provide them with tailored product recommendations

- Spotify uses artificial intelligence to create unique playlists based on the listener's recent listening habits

But personalized recommendations impact goes beyond elevating overall satisfaction. It also positively affects more down-to-earth aspects of business:

- boost sales by presenting customers with options that are more likely to resonate with their interests

- provide tailored retention offers

- increase customer engagement and encourage further interaction with your brand

### 4\. Forecast future customer behavior with predictive analytics

Understanding how customers behave is the key to providing them with the best possible experiences. Here is where predictive analytics comes in handy. It analyzes historical data, identifies patterns and trends, and accurately forecasts future customer behavior. This helps identify potential churn risks, enabling you to implement retention strategies and keep customers.

Additionally, predictive analytics allows for a more efficient allocation of resources. This may include optimizing inventory levels, adjusting customer service staffing based on expected demand, tailoring promotional activities, and so on.

## What is the future of AI in customer experience?

As technology continues to advance, we are likely to discover new exciting ways how AI technology will transform customer engagement. Meanwhile, here are the key AI trends that we are witnessing now or can expect soon:

- **Increased chatbot usage.** One of the clear trends of AI in CX is the growing use of chatbots. [Here](https://chatfuel.com/blog/social-media-chatbot-for-business) you can learn more about why and how businesses use chatbots for marketing, customer support, and sales.

- **More accurate predictive capabilities.** As artificial intelligence improves, it can predict what customers will need and how they will behave more accurately. This could enable even more tailored, hyper-personalized customer experiences.

- **Emotion AI.** Humans are really good at understanding and caring about customers, dealing with problems, and meeting individual needs – something AI still struggles with. However, as computer vision technology continues to evolve, we can expect the emergence of service tools capable of recognizing and reacting to human emotions conveyed through facial expressions or tone of voice. This will enable understanding and empathetic interactions with customers.

- **Voice and visual search.** Voice and visual search are set to become more common in improving the customer experience. Customers will be able to interact with businesses using voice commands or images, making the search and purchase processes easier and faster.

There may appear way more options to combine AI and customer experience. What is clear is that the most successful results of this collaboration are achieved through a partnership between humans and AI. When it comes to customer journey, AI can be super effective, but at the end of the day, it's us humans and our emotional intelligence that really steer the ship.

## Summary

The key to pulling off a successful AI project is to clearly set out your goals and choose the right technology to get the job done.

9 AI Sales Tools to Boost Revenue in 2024

Black Friday and Cyber Monday are quickly approaching. Like many eCommerce managers and marketing specialists, you’re probably rushing to prepare for the peak season. This might be the biggest month of the year for you. But don’t worry — we’re here to help you make the most of it.

In this article, we’ll show you how to use sales automation to increase sales for your store. We’re going to show you how to leverage WhatsApp for your business, a case study of a brand already doing this, and even a template that you can start using immediately. The goal is to get you prepared for an influx of customers, making sure that you maximize your sales while reducing the workload on your team at the same time.

Let’s dive in.

## How do you automate sales with ChatGPT and Chatfuel?

The great thing about ChatGPT is that it can be integrated into other tools, such as [eCommerce chatbots](https://chatfuel.com/blog/best-ecommerce-chatbots-that-can-boost-your-business/). And we did just that at Chatfuel. That means that instead of customers going through pre-defined options or being connected to an agent when they click the chat widget, they can ask questions in a conversational manner. ChatGPT can then answer those questions and provide them with all the necessary information. It acts as a product expert and salesman, all in one.

All of this is possible by adding some training data to the flow. You might add information about your products, details on your sales and promotions, information about your store, and anything else that is relevant to your business. The best part is that this setup is simple, especially if you already use Chatfuel for your website. In just minutes, you can have a completely automated sales machine working for your business.

While it may seem like a stretch, this use of ChatGPT-powered tools is more common than you’d think. Keep reading to find out how a popular Brazilian online education platform is leveraging Chatfuel and ChatGPT.

## Case study: how an education platform automates acquisition with Chatfuel

Ultima.school, one of Chatfuel’s many customers, sells digital courses on programming, marketing, and analytics. Their sales process includes collecting customer information and manually scheduling consultations, which is quite expensive. For this reason, they wanted to reduce this acquisition cost while keeping the same conversion rates. And to make that happen, they turned to Chatfuel.

<img src="https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/image_1_1a751983b9/image_1_1a751983b9.jpg" alt="image 1.jpg" width="2000" height="1044" srcset="https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/xs_image_1_1a751983b9/xs_image_1_1a751983b9.jpg 300w, https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/sm_image_1_1a751983b9/sm_image_1_1a751983b9.jpg 768w, https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/md_image_1_1a751983b9/md_image_1_1a751983b9.jpg 1280w, https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/lg_image_1_1a751983b9/lg_image_1_1a751983b9.jpg 1920w, https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/xl_image_1_1a751983b9/xl_image_1_1a751983b9.jpg 2000w">

With our help, they’ve updated their sales flow so that Chatfuel now acts as a pre-sales manager for their customers. Once a customer fills out a form, the information is transferred to Chatfuel. Chatfuel then sends a confirmation message, uses ChatGPT to book a meeting, and finally creates a task in the CRM for that meeting.

<img src="https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/image_2_901ded2e5c/image_2_901ded2e5c.jpg" alt="image 2.jpg" width="1552" height="914" srcset="https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/xs_image_2_901ded2e5c/xs_image_2_901ded2e5c.jpg 300w, https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/sm_image_2_901ded2e5c/sm_image_2_901ded2e5c.jpg 768w, https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/md_image_2_901ded2e5c/md_image_2_901ded2e5c.jpg 1280w, https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/lg_image_2_901ded2e5c/lg_image_2_901ded2e5c.jpg 1920w, https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/xl_image_2_901ded2e5c/xl_image_2_901ded2e5c.jpg 1552w">

As a result, [Ultima.school](https://ultima.school) reduced their customer acquisition cost by 50% while still keeping their conversion rates high. Not only that, but they are now exploring other use cases, including engagement, lead qualification, and upselling through WhatsApp.

Your setup should now be done. In under 30 minutes, your business is equipped with an automated sales tool that will help you boost your sales this season.

## Reengage your existing contacts

This is another great way to leverage our ChatGPT-powered tool. So, instead of waiting for customers to come to you, you can reach out to your existing customer groups and inform them about your promotions and offers. You can even offer them exclusive discounts, helping you build a stronger relationship and customer loyalty. Then, once they receive your message and engage with you, they enter the same flow that new customers do. This means that ChatGPT will answer their product questions, promotion questions, or whatever else you have it set up to do.

Here’s how you can do this in your dashboard:

1. Go to the ‘People’ tab and click on ‘Import contacts.’

2. Import the CSV file with the WhatsApp phone numbers for your existing contacts. If you want to differentiate these contacts from others, you can also give them a custom attribute during the import process.

8. In the ‘Send’ section, indicate when you want to send this message and select the previously created segment in the ‘Send to’ field. You also have the option to send based on an attribute.

9. Lastly, connect this reengage message with the ChatGPT flow that you duplicated by going to the ‘Actions’ dropdown and selecting ‘Redirect to Flow.’ Once a customer clicks the button, the ChatGPT flow you set up in the previous step activates and interacts with them.
