The "meet-customers-where-they-are" approach has businesses juggling multiple channels, including Facebook. But as your business grows, it gets harder to keep up with all these channels. The good news is that AI agents can automate a big chunk of your Facebook business routine. Read on to learn what these AI agents are, explore the tasks they can do for you, and find some handy tips on how to use them effectively to run your business on Facebook.

## What is an AI agent?

AI agents are autonomous AI systems that can automate a full range of functions within specific roles such as sales representative, support agent, and others. They can be used across various channels—WhatsApp, Instagram, business websites, and Facebook. They generate and qualify leads, provide customer support, and do other tasks you assign to them. Requiring minimal to no human intervention, these agents can either serve as an extension of your existing team or become your full-fledged AI department.

Think of AI agents as your junior employees. With the proper training, they can become your top team members learning as they go, getting better and faster. To help them learn, provide them with information about your business and clients.

You can use a dedicated agent for specific tasks or hire one with various skills to handle multiple directions—like Fuely the AI agent.

## Why employ AI agents for Facebook?

-   **Effortless AI automation**

Facebook is a highly effective channel for businesses. But to use it to its full potential, you’ll have to invest plenty of time in it. By using AI agents, you can swiftly integrate AI into your Facebook operations and effortlessly scale your business.

-   **Instant productivity boost**

Hiring and onboarding new employees requires a considerable amount of time and resources. This often creates a significant gap between the moment when the need to reinforce the team is recognized and the actual moment when the new employee is fully integrated and ready to contribute. By employing an AI agent, you get a team member ready to work for your business immediately.

-   **Cost efficiency**

AI agents offer a steady, reliable service without the usual limits of human work. They don't need a monthly wage, health insurance, or benefits like paid holidays. Plus, AI agents can work non-stop, all week, without needing breaks, holidays, or time off, which humans need to stay productive and healthy.

## Facebook AI agents use cases

Let's examine three common use cases to better understand how to use AI agents on Facebook, which challenges can be addressed, and what outcomes can be achieved with them.

### AI agent use case #1: answering FAQs

Effective customer support directly affects customer experience and, consequently, sales. Therefore, promptly addressing customer inquiries should be a business's top priority. Given human agents’ limitations, businesses often face a dilemma: either increase customer service costs by hiring more staff or miss opportunities due to employees’ limited working hours. However, there’s one more option: employ AI agents.

An AI agent can automatically respond to frequently asked questions whenever customers need it. Providing timely and comprehensive answers to customers’ questions, autonomous AI agents enhance customer experience and encourage repeat visits, ultimately leading to increased revenue.

For instance, Fuely AI, powered by ChatGPT, can answer not only single questions but also understand the context and resolve more complex issues. It can also route the customer to a human agent when it’s required.

## AI agent use case #2: automating lead qualification from ads on Facebook

If you’ve already used Chatfuel, you probably know that you can set up Click-to-Messenger ads when you add a button to your Facebook ads that opens a conversation in WhatsApp. But what if there are too many users tapping that button?

Delayed processing of incoming inquiries leads to lost opportunities, and though not all of these leads will convert into customers, you still have to process them. And here’s where AI agents come in.

You can set your AI agent up to handle lead qualification. No more team overload due to a high volume of inquiries or long wait times for customer responses. With an AI agent qualifying your leads, you ensure fast and efficient handling of every inquiry, capturing every business opportunity and increasing conversion rates.

## AI agent use case #3: automating responses to comments on Facebook

Facebook comments are a great space to communicate with your customers. Timely and relevant responses boost engagement and make your followers feel seen, growing your audience, their loyalty, and eventually sales. And addressing negative comments can help to improve your brand’s image and might even win back unhappy customers.

A rare brand can boast effective Facebook community management, as it requires significant time investment. Or rather required—this is no longer the case when AI agents are introduced.

You can set your AI agent up to automatically reply to comments on your Facebook posts—either certain comments or all of them, on one or many posts. Plus, due to integrated ChatGPT, they can keep the conversation beyond the first comment.

By automating comment replies with AI agents, you free up time for important matters without leaving your customers unanswered, therefore enhancing their experience and boosting your brand's image. The best part is that AI agents are multilingual and can cater to customers worldwide which is particularly useful when your followers are from different regions and time zones.

Automate Facebook FAQ Responses with Fuely AI

With over 3 billion monthly users, Facebook is the platform of choice for businesses to connect with customers. And while most brands don't have the resources to be available 24/7, that is exactly what their customers expect. This is where the Facebook AI chatbot comes in.

In this article, you will learn what an AI Facebook chatbot is, why you should build one, and how to maximize its potential.

## Facebook AI chatbot explained

Technically, any chatbot is a piece of code that simulates human conversation and interacts with users based on predefined settings and rules. A bot can answer frequent questions, provide basic assistance such as tracking packages or booking appointments, make personalized recommendations, and more.

Facebook bots operate in Messenger, a Metaverse’s instant messaging app. Messenger can integrate with websites and WhatsApp. You can duplicate and deploy a Facebook AI bot on your website or WhatsApp Business account to enable multi-channel communication with your customers.

### Meta's latest AI chatbot

Meta Platforms, the parent company of Facebook, heavily invests in the development of various Meta [conversational AI technologies](https://chatfuel.com/blog/conversational-ai-platforms/) and features. In 2020, the company rolled out an AI chatbot for Facebook called BlenderBot. Meta claims it was the first publicly available conversational model that could do many things, like understanding emotions, having knowledge, and showing personality.

The latest version, BlenderBot 3, can search the internet to discuss almost everything and improves its conversational skills based on user feedback. It’s a flexible and powerful tool that can be put to a range of uses. However, its drawbacks make it unsuitable for businesses looking for a chatbot to handle customer service. The large language models, which Facebook chat bot AI is at its core, tend to invent answers to user questions. Not to mention location restrictions – currently, BlenderBot 3 is available only to US residents. Building a custom bot is a more efficient option for brands that want to automate and [improve customer service using AI](https://chatfuel.com/blog/ai-and-customer-experience/).

### Does Facebook plan to shut down AI?

You may have heard rumors about Facebook shutting down AI. Indeed, there was a wave of posts on the internet claiming that AI creates its own language. These posts described the scenario where bots created with Facebook AI were supposedly talking to each other. Meta's bots, Bob and Alice, attempted to communicate in some new language, but it turned out to be a completely meaningless set of characters. The bots were disconnected, but Meta continues its work in the field of artificial intelligence.

## 4 reasons to implement a Facebook AI chatbot

Conversational AI chatbots are cost-effective tools that can handle a wide range of tasks. While they don’t replace human agents, bots can help reduce the volume of tasks that would otherwise require a large customer service team. Additionally, they enable businesses to perform tasks previously abandoned due to limited resources. These tasks may include customer communication, engagement, re-engagement efforts, or gathering feedback.

If any of the following points match your goals, a Facebook AI chatbot may be your tool of choice.

### 1\. Sell more

AI-powered chatbots can analyze customer preferences and behavior and provide personalized product recommendations.

### 2\. Save costs

Chatbots automate repetitive tasks, reducing the need for human agents. This frees up time to focus on more complex issues that require human attention.

### 3\. Make data-driven decisions

Customer data collected by AI-powered Facebook bots is an ultimate source of actionable insights. You can use this data for strategic decisions and targeted marketing campaigns.

### 4\. Improve customer service

Facebook chat AI doesn’t get tired or need breaks. It can provide instant responses to customer queries 24/7, allowing your brand to stay in touch even outside of business hours.

## Facebook bot best practices

Here are some proven tips that will help you make the most out of your AI bot.

### Use customer data

Bot's log is a valuable source of customer data that can provide actionable insights. You can collect this information to:

- get actionable insights into your audience,

-   enable personalized customer experience,

- provide more efficient and effective customer service,

- increase engagement and conversion through targeted marketing campaigns,

-   identify areas for improvement.

Different tools feature different approaches to data management. For example, in Chatfuel, there are system and custom attributes that help to collect, categorize, and save the data.

System attributes gather information like demographic data, timezone, contact details, and more. You can not change them. Custom attributes are assigned to a user by you and can be whatever you need them to be.

Collected data can then be exported from Chatfuel to Google Sheets and used to:

- learn more about your audience,

- sort your audience into segments based on qualities or preferences, so you can retarget effectively,

- personalize the chat for each user.

Remember to prioritize privacy and security when handling data. Be transparent about data usage policies when obtaining customer consent.

### Track the bot's performance

To assess the effectiveness of your chatbot, you can define relevant key performance indicators (KPIs). They may vary depending on the purpose of the bot and can include metrics like fallback rate, goal completion rate, and others. Another way to evaluate the bot's performance is by collecting user feedback. For example, you can allow users to vote with emojis at the end of each interaction. Keeping an eye on the bot’s performance, you can identify weak spots and continuously improve the bot, increasing its efficiency and customer satisfaction.

### Ensure simple routing to human agents for non-standard inquiries

Though bots are efficient, you shouldn’t rely on them solely. Sometimes there are situations where a chatbot just isn’t enough. And that is when your support team should take it over. Ensure a smooth transition to human agents when there is an issue that the bot cannot resolve.

Define and set up specific triggers that will indicate when the chatbot should escalate the conversation to a human agent. This could include phrases like "speak to an agent," "human help," and so on.

## Set up your first chatbot

By 2024, every brand seems to have a chatbot. If you haven't made one before, you might have felt overwhelmed by how complicated it seems. The great news is that making a chatbot doesn't have to be complex, especially with the right tool in place.

With Chatfuel, you can get your first chatbot up and running in a few simple steps. All it takes is to sign up, connect your Facebook business account, pick one of our comprehensive templates (or create your custom flow from scratch), and you’re good to go. Facebook AI chatbot for business in 2024

Social media is the second lead generation channel in real estate. It brings [44%](https://theclose.com/agent-survey-2021) of new leads and only falls behind referrals in #1 place with 82%. Since most real estate work is done offline, keeping socials active comes with a bit of a challenge. Below are 5 ideas for social media put together with real estate in mind.

## Showcase local businesses

Gayane is “Denver’s Most Charismatic Real Estate Agent”. She mostly posts listings, expert advice, home constructions videos and more. Another thing Gayane does are ‘local business review’ stories and videos. Such posts not only make her relatable, they also raise her credibility as a real estate expert in her area.

<figure><img srcset="https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/xs_social_media_ideas_real_estate_0_2dbf13deb6/xs_social_media_ideas_real_estate_0_2dbf13deb6.webp 300w, https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/sm_social_media_ideas_real_estate_0_2dbf13deb6/sm_social_media_ideas_real_estate_0_2dbf13deb6.webp 768w, https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/md_social_media_ideas_real_estate_0_2dbf13deb6/md_social_media_ideas_real_estate_0_2dbf13deb6.webp 1280w, https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/lg_social_media_ideas_real_estate_0_2dbf13deb6/lg_social_media_ideas_real_estate_0_2dbf13deb6.webp 1920w, https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/xl_social_media_ideas_real_estate_0_2dbf13deb6/xl_social_media_ideas_real_estate_0_2dbf13deb6.webp 1605w" width="1605" height="906" src="https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/original_social_media_ideas_real_estate_0_2dbf13deb6/original_social_media_ideas_real_estate_0_2dbf13deb6.webp" alt=""><figcaption>Gayane showing Denver local spots in stories and posts</figcaption></figure>

A story and a video example from Gayane’s Instagram

To adapt this idea to your business:

1. Think of both popular and lesser known coffee shops or restaurants in the area of your listings.

2. Pick a place you want to showcase.

3. Make a short video or a story about the spot you picked.

Remember, these reviews are a way to gain some social proof and show that you’re relatable. So, don’t overthink it. Talk about the food and service, the location and neighborhood the way you’d tell it to a friend. Reassure homebuyers ([40%](https://fitsmallbusiness.com/real-estate-statistics/) end up regretting location choice) that the location they’re picking is a good one by showing the neighborhood yourself.

## Ask what your audience thinks

An active discussion in comments improves your engagement rate and shows Facebook algorithms that people are interested in your content. Look at how Etsy, an e-commerce platform, uses questions to encourage people to comment.

<figure><img srcset="https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/xs_social_media_ideas_real_estate_1_27dc67ac79/xs_social_media_ideas_real_estate_1_27dc67ac79.webp 300w, https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/sm_social_media_ideas_real_estate_1_27dc67ac79/sm_social_media_ideas_real_estate_1_27dc67ac79.webp 768w, https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/md_social_media_ideas_real_estate_1_27dc67ac79/md_social_media_ideas_real_estate_1_27dc67ac79.webp 1280w, https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/lg_social_media_ideas_real_estate_1_27dc67ac79/lg_social_media_ideas_real_estate_1_27dc67ac79.webp 1920w, https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/xl_social_media_ideas_real_estate_1_27dc67ac79/xl_social_media_ideas_real_estate_1_27dc67ac79.webp 684w" width="684" height="651" src="https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/original_social_media_ideas_real_estate_1_27dc67ac79/original_social_media_ideas_real_estate_1_27dc67ac79.webp" alt=""><figcaption>A simple question post that generated almost 300 comments</figcaption></figure>

To start using this idea, come up with a list of questions related to real estate. Here are some examples to get you started:

1. Home renovation: Which cabinet style do you prefer? Which exterior style do you prefer? What kind of kitchen do you look for?

2. Home buying: How much does an average home sell for? What common mistakes first-time homebuyers make? Can you buy a home with a bad credit score?

3. Asking opinions: What state is the most popular among homebuyers? Is it worth buying a fixer-upper? How many rooms do you look for in a house?

Use and expand on these examples and if you get stuck, don’t hesitate to google some more. You can go one step further and set up automated lead generation from the comments you receive.

### Generate leads from comments

Automated lead generation is when a preconfigured bot responds to comments instead of you. Don’t worry, this is a bot compliant to Facebook rules. Here’s how it works: you sign up with Chatfuel, connect your Facebook or Instagram page and create a conversation logic. You then connect a single or multiple posts to this logic and set automation live.

To generate leads from comments, use Comments Autoreply functionality. It lets you leave a public or a private reply to a new comment. Go to Flow Builder and choose Comments Autoreply, select your posts and add your response.

The response can be a simple message saying ‘Thanks, we appreciate your comment! Do you want to learn more about our products? ’ with a button to your website under it. Or the logic can be more complex. For example, a survey with multiple questions where the results and contact data are automatically sent to your email address.

Sign up with Chatfuel to try lead generation from comments yourself.

## Share your expertise

Educational posts address questions and concerns of your followers. These include obvious ones and the ones that your audience is not aware of. Zillow has a good example of a short, informative post.

<figure><img srcset="https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/xs_social_media_ideas_real_estate_2_c64213ccf9/xs_social_media_ideas_real_estate_2_c64213ccf9.webp 300w, https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/sm_social_media_ideas_real_estate_2_c64213ccf9/sm_social_media_ideas_real_estate_2_c64213ccf9.webp 768w, https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/md_social_media_ideas_real_estate_2_c64213ccf9/md_social_media_ideas_real_estate_2_c64213ccf9.webp 1280w, https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/lg_social_media_ideas_real_estate_2_c64213ccf9/lg_social_media_ideas_real_estate_2_c64213ccf9.webp 1920w, https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/xl_social_media_ideas_real_estate_2_c64213ccf9/xl_social_media_ideas_real_estate_2_c64213ccf9.webp 679w" width="679" height="803" src="https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/original_social_media_ideas_real_estate_2_c64213ccf9/original_social_media_ideas_real_estate_2_c64213ccf9.webp" alt=""><figcaption>Zillow explaining how to sell a house for more profit</figcaption></figure>

Don’t be afraid to experiment with the format of such posts: long or short, images or videos, expert opinion or industry news (more on this later). Here are some things you can talk about:

-   Finance: mortgage, lender, market prices;

-   Home improvement: planning, renovating, furnishing;

- Rules and regulations: legal, pre-approval, income and employment.

Come up with a few ideas for any of these topics. Get into homebuyers shoes and think of some of their questions and concerns, then address those with an educational post. ## Post industry updates

New Mexico realtor Eli Nevarez shows a good example on how to keep your audience well informed. Keeping up with the industry news highlights your expertise on the market and awareness of the trends.

Such posts are very similar to educational ones, except they focus more on:

-   Industry news;

-   Market updates;

-   Changes in regulation;

-   Changes in mortgage programs.

## Add testimonials

In real estate, public opinion matters, with as much as [43%](https://www.outboundengine.com/blog/real-estate-marketing-benchmarks-report-is-here/) of real estate agents investing their extra marketing budget in referrals. To build up your reputation, include posts with the sales you close and show former homebuyers become now homeowners. For example, look at Bianca Morrison from Chicago, who includes videos with happy clients in their new home after closing.

Newsletters are one of the most effective ways to deliver value to your clients. While emails still remain a tried and tested formula for sending newsletters, their effectiveness falls behind modern messengers like Snapchat, Messenger or WhatsApp.

A marketing industry giant HubSpot [ran an experiment](https://blog.hubspot.com/marketing/facebook-messenger-marketing-experiments) to compare email and Messenger newsletters effectiveness. While email newsletters still delivered a decent open rate of 30% and a click rate of 2.1% they vastly underperformed Messenger newsletters with 80% and 13% respectively. That’s more than 600% higher engagement compared to email.

Moreover, Messenger newsletters are new. So new, that most Facebook businesses don’t know they exist. This gives you a chance to truly stand out and be among the first to unlock their untapped potential.

In this guide you’ll learn how Messenger newsletters work, how they are different from email newsletters and how to create your first Messenger newsletter campaign.

## What is a Messenger newsletter

Messenger newsletter (officially ‘Recurring notifications’) is a brand new feature released in 2022 for Facebook Pages. It lets you create daily, weekly or monthly newsletter campaigns and send them out to subscribers right in Messenger chat. This newsletter can contain: product updates, special offers, news or any kind of promotional messages, unless they don’t violate Facebook guidelines.

Any Facebook Business Page can use Messenger newsletters. But to access this feature, you’ll need to [sign up for Chatfuel](https://chatfuel.com). It’s a no-code tool that lets any business automate day-to-day their routine tasks, like replying to common customer question. In this case you’ll need it to create and send out Messenger newsletters.

## How is Messenger newsletter different from email

Unlike emails, your whole communication with each customer is in one place — a Messenger chat. So if a subscriber wants to ask a question about what they’ve just read or contact you for help, they’ll just type in a message right there.

A Messenger newsletter offers a more concise, but interactive experience. An email typically has a longer format with title photos, headers, paragraphs and in most cases ends with a CTA (Call-To-Action) button. Due to Facebook guidelines, you are limited to one message per newsletter only, but don’t worry, you can still create eye-catching newsletters with multiple pictures, buttons and more.

Your newsletter is also spared of certain email quirks:

-   it won’t get into spam folder;
-   it will avoid delivery issues;
- it will appear as intended on multiple devices.

Let’s look at an example. Lets say 1,000 people already receive a weekly email newsletter from your swimsuit store. They read about new arrivals, special offers and then click your CTA and go to your website. With a Messenger newsletter you can use galleries to make the same experience more interactive. Galleries work similar to Instagram posts, where your visitors can swipe through up to 10 cards. Each card has a picture itself, a description and a button. It makes it so much easier for a person to explore each card and decide which one they want to buy.

<figure><img alt="NTN galleries.gif" src="https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/create_a_newsletter_1_d58f2764fd/create_a_newsletter_1_d58f2764fd.gif" height="942" width="1514" placeholder="blur"><figcaption>A newsletter with latest blog posts to build brand loyalty</figcaption></figure>

## Who can benefit from a Messenger newsletter

Any business that offers services or sells something via a Facebook Page. Some examples:

-   Creators;
-   Educators;
-   Online retailers;
-   Entertainment;
-   Health & Beauty;
-   Restaurants.

## How to send a Messenger newsletter

First, get your letter ready. Creating a Messenger newsletter follows the same steps as a regular email newsletter: figure out a goal, gather content and design a template. Next, you’ll need to subscribe a visitor or a client to your newsletter. You can subscribe anybody who messaged your Facebook Page or left a comment by sending them a special message with a subscription button. After they subscribe, you will be able to create campaigns and send daily, weekly or monthly messages.

There is only one rule you need to keep in mind. You need to subscribe a person to your newsletter within 24 hours after their last message.

### Subscribe your readers

First, you’ll need to [register at Chatfuel](https://dashboard.chatfuel.com/sign-in), it’s a tool that lets you create newsletter campaigns for Messenger. After you do the initial setup, go ahead and create one or several Flows. A Flow is a conversation logic that is automatically triggered when a user sends a message. It is activated when a user interacts with your page by sending a direct message, leaving a comment under one of your posts, etc. Remember those pop-up chat windows that offer answers to common questions, as if you are talking to an agent? Flows are what’s going on under-the-hood.

Next, you need to add a special subscription message. You can add it anywhere you want, but in general the end of the Flow makes the most sense. After you do, your users will be able to subscribe by clicking a button and you can start crafting your first newsletter.

<figure><img alt="NTN notify button.gif" src="https://storage.googleapis.com/chatfuel-cms-staging/pic/create_a_newsletter_2_678815c4e4/create_a_newsletter_2_678815c4e4.gif" height="940" width="1336" placeholder="blur"><figcaption>Visitors receive a subscription request</figcaption></figure>

### Send your newsletter

Creating newsletter campaigns is done in the separate Reengage tab that works the same way as any email automation platform. First you choose details of your campaign: date and time, topic, segments of your audience. Next, you add your content. Try to experiment with adding photos, using galleries, buttons and spicing it up with emojis. After you’re done editing, enable your newsletter campaign.

## Create your own Messenger newsletter

Messenger newsletters are available to all [Chatfuel](https://chatfuel.com) users. Try following this guide and create your own newsletter campaign. You can see how it works on your own Facebook Page. First 50 chats are free which is enough for you to get familiar with Chatfuel, try newsletters and other available features.

Persistent Menu is a powerful tool to engage users and help them navigate through your chatbot. Users always see this button in a chatbot so that you can benefit from this feature. This article will explain what Persistent Menu is, how it can help your business, and how to set it up in a couple of minutes.

## What is Persistent Menu

Persistent Menu is a button in the bottom right-hand corner of the Messenger menu that users see as a burger or three horizontal lines. Persistent Menu helps users find what they are looking for with ease. It works as a restaurant menu — you give users a set of meals, and they choose what they want.

Adding a Persistent Menu can be challenging. You are to know codes and how to program, as you’ll have to put a special code in the right place and launch the program. For lots of businesses, it’s not an option.

It’s much easier with Chatfuel, a no-code visual chatbot builder. Just use the templates and customize them for your case. No programming and special knowledge are needed.

The main use of Persistent Menu — is a core navigational menu. So, let’s set it up.

## 3 must-have buttons in your Messenger Main Menu

You can add up to 3 buttons in a Persistent Menu, so narrow down what’re the most important actions for your user. You can set up what works for you, but, based on our clients’ use cases, the most useful buttons are:

- Restart the bot — so users can repeat their actions or choose other options they need. For example, they booked a table at a restaurant in a bot a month before, and now they want to order delivery from the same restaurant. So they can restart a bot and choose other buttons this time.
- Unsubscribe — give users the ability to finish the conversation. [Hubspot proved](https://blog.hubspot.com/marketing/why-consumers-subscribe-to-email) that 9% of email subscribers cancel their subscriptions because the content is no longer valuable. And as to chatbots — users start communication when they have a specific request. Of course, when the request is fulfilled, many users want to stop communication.
- Any button useful for you and your clients. For example, a ‘Take Quiz’ button, if you want to offer clients to take a product recommendation quiz. A quiz helps to increase sales with the help of gamification. Users answer questions like ‘What’s your favorite animal? ’, ‘Which film you’d rather watch with your friend? ’. And the bot gives a recommendation, which T-shirt to order, depending on user preference. Users feel special, and you engage the customers to your shop more.

The menu title is limited to 30 characters. You can add emojis or leave the buttons with text only. Instead of text, you can add a link to any block or URL. Learn more about formats in our [Help Center](https://docs.chatfuel.com/en/articles/925465-media-assets).

## How to set a navigational menu

Now you know, which buttons to add. Open [Chatfuel dashboard](https://dashboard.chatfuel.com) to set up your navigational menu.

1. Open the Flow tab and create a new Flow. Double click the canvas space, then Entry Points → Persistent Menu. Now it’s on your canvas.
2. Add 3 buttons. For example, restart the bot, unsubscribe, and any other button you want. Drag your button to the top — it’s the most important action for your business.
3. To enable your Persistent Menu, tap a toggle on the right top angle.

<figure><iframe allowfullscreen="" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/DWovaAjFOOk" title="How to Use the Persistent Menu Entry Point in Chatfuel"></iframe></figure>

Note that you can only have one Persistent Menu enabled in a chatbot.

## Localize the menu

If your audience is multilingual, localize the navigational menu by clicking on the Localization button in Persistent Menu. After that choose a language, and set the names of the buttons in a chosen language.

Note that it won’t localize the whole chatbot, only three buttons in the Persistent Menu.

Read more about setting multiple languages in our [Help Center](https://docs.chatfuel.com/en/articles/2931038-multiple-languages).

## Disable user input

If you want to collect user emails, but the user input is disabled, the users won’t be able to send you their emails. So make sure you don’t have such a goal. But the advantage of disabling the input is that users will be more likely to move through your flow from beginning to end. This is useful if you offer users to take a quiz — they’ll just press on buttons and stick to the flow.

To disable user input flip the switch on the top left corner.

Note that if you disable user input, it’ll be disabled for the whole chatbot, not only for the flow.

Any business wants to grab new customers right away. And if you run a Facebook Business Page, there are several core things you already have in place to do that. You added relevant contact data, so your clients can contact you. You keep your page active by adding new posts regularly. Your clients can ask you questions by sending a message to your business. But what if you could take it up a notch? Your clients could get a response quicker and you could go as far as generating more leads on autopilot. Below we’ll show you how to do this by setting up FAQs for your Facebook Page.

## What are Facebook FAQs?

Frequently asked questions or FAQs are an efficient tool for Facebook Pages. They let you create a list of the most asked questions with answers on your page. It helps your clients get an answer to their question right away. Let’s say you sell toys.

With FAQs, you can add questions about shipping, payment methods and refund policy. If a customer is interested and wants to send you a message, they will see these questions after they open a chat window. When they click any of these questions, they will receive an answer instantly. This lets you start an interaction with a customer before they think about going to competition.

## How to set up basic FAQs for your Facebook Page

If you want to set up a simple question-response logic, you need to turn on Frequently asked questions in [Meta Business Suite](https://business.facebook.com):

1. Open up business settings, select **Inbox** in the sidebar menu on the left.

2. Click on **Automated responses** in the top right corner and choose **Frequently asked questions**.

3. Choose **Messenger** as your platform and start adding questions and replies.

4. After you added everything, switch the toggle on top to turn it on and save changes. If you find that this is enough for your business, you are all set.

Now your customers can get an answer to their question in no time. In the next step we’ll show you how to go even further and put your lead generation on autopilot.

## How to set up FAQs to generate leads

Simple question-answer logic is a great first step and it will help you attract more customers. But the problem is, it basically works as a knowledge base. It doesn’t feel like a conversation with a person. Luckily, there is a way around: setting up automation.

It can help to give your clients more specific info for their case. To make FAQs generate leads for us, we will use Chatfuel. It is a no-code automation platform, which is developed with small and medium business in mind. Before we continue, [sign up](https://dashboard.chatfuel.com/sign-up?utm_medium=chatfuel&utm_source=blog&utm_campaign=attract-customers-facebook-faqs) with Chatfuel and [connect your Facebook Page](https://docs.chatfuel.com/en/articles/3917632-connecting-your-facebook-or-instagram).

### Set up keywords for your questions

After creating an account, you need to set up keywords. Keywords let automation recognize a question a customer sends. Then, AI sends your customer to an appropriate conversation logic. Don’t worry, you’ll set up a logic in the next step.

For now, just make sure that your keywords and the questions you set up earlier are identical:

1. Open **Keywords** tab in the sidebar menu. On this page you need to duplicate your questions from FAQs you set in Facebook. On the top of the page you can switch between Facebook and Instagram. Notice that Facebook is selected by default.

2. Click **Add keyword** and copy your question. Then, set a flow as response to it. If you have more than one question, do the same for each one.

3. After you finish adding keywords, head to **Flow** tab.

### Build automation in flows

Next, you need to set up a response itself. Earlier you added one or more flows. Simply put, a flow is your conversation logic.

If you have more than one flow, you need to build such logic for each one:

1. Click **Add content** to start adding your response. There are several things you can do, but in our case, we want to generate more leads. To do this, add a block called **Collect emails** or **Collect phones**. These blocks let your customers leave their emails or phone numbers. Chatfuel then saves this information.

2. After you finish adding content, turn on your bot. Your customers now follow your flow based on the keyword they entered.

3. Play around and improve your flow. Or if you don’t want to start from scratch, use our pre-made template. [Sign up](https://dashboard.chatfuel.com/sign-up?utm_medium=chatfuel&utm_source=blog&utm_campaign=attract-customers-facebook-faqs) with Chatfuel to start using automation.

**Bonus tip**. You can use a built-in CRM to find customer information like emails of phones. Another option is to use our Google Sheet integration. It’s a great way to export data from Chatfuel. Any time a client leaves an email or a phone number, your bot will send this info to a spreadsheet automatically. Add Google Sheet integration to your Flow to connect your account and chose which data you want to export.

Facebook Page offers a powerful Frequently asked questions feature. You can set up FAQs to generate more leads with Chatfuel automation.
